The Airline Course

Airline Flying Fundamentals

Airline training moves fast. This course covers the basics so you’re ready from day one.

Preparing for Airline Training

Your first airline training is intense. Everything is new: regulations, terminology, systems, callouts, crew coordination. And the pace doesn’t slow down.

Most programs expect you to pick up the basics on your own. This course helps you get there faster.

Built by Part 121 airline instructors and check airmen, it gives you the foundation before day one so you can focus on learning your airplane, not catching up on fundamentals.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Who is this course for?

Any pilot preparing for their first U.S. airline job—regional, LCC, or major. CFIs, corporate pilots, military pilots, and anyone else making the transition.

  • Is this interview prep?

No. We cover technical and operational knowledge, not interview coaching.

  • Will this interfere with my airline’s training?

No. We stick to general concepts that aren’t operator- or type-specific. This gives you the foundation your airline’s program will build on.

  • Won’t my airline teach me everything I need?

They’ll teach you what you need for their operation. This course covers the universal fundamentals so you can absorb that training faster.

  • Is this jet-specific?

We emphasize jets, but most content applies to large turboprops too.

  • Should I just “trust the program” instead?

“Trust the program” is common advice in airline training—focus on what your training department gives you, don’t get distracted. It’s good advice. This course is designed to supplement that, not replace it. Think of it as pre-study so you can absorb more when training starts.

  • How long does it take to finish?

Most pilots complete it in 10–15 hours. You have lifetime access, so go at your own pace.

  • Do you offer a free trial?

    We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee instead.
