It’s important to make sure you are fit to fly. And during training, if you’re not fit to fly, you’re certainly not fit to learn. The IMSAFE is the most popular method to self-check — Illness, Medications, Stress, Alcohol (8 hrs), Fatigue, Eating. In addition to evaluating yourself, it’s important to prepare yourself physiologically before you fly. Get food and water, and stay healthy in general.
