Principles

Our goal is to collect the least amount of personal data necessary to provide a great user experience. We do not sell your personal information, or share it except to the extent necessary to comply with the law, develop products, or protect our rights.

We collect user data, to the extent necessary to provide service, in several processes on our website. 

User sign up — when a user creates an account through our website, they submit their first name, last name, username, and email address. User names and email addresses are used to enhance their user experience. First name and last name are used to enhance the user experience, in particular our ability to issue endorsements for FAA Knowledge Tests.

Like most website operators, Flight Apprentice LLC collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, IP address, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request.

When we collect and process personal information, and while we retain this information, we will protect it within commercially acceptable means to prevent loss and theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification. 

Although we will do our best to protect the personal information you provide to us, we advise that no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure and  we do not guarantee absolute data security.

Children’s Information

Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.

Flight Apprentice LLC does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
