Airspace, ATC communications, and regulations are the areas that most pilots forget rather quickly. The FAA has made airspace and, TFRs in particular, a major focus area because lots of pilots still bust airspace fairly regularly.

Fortunately, it isn’t that tough! If there’s one take away from this section it’s that you should always check NOTAMs before you fly, and review a sectional chart before you fly somewhere unfamiliar. If there’s airspace along the route, have a plan to either avoid it or refresh yourself on airspace entry procedures.
